Description: I raised 5 Emus from 'egghood' to adulthood whilst living in a national park and it was one of the most amazing experiences of my life! Emus are no different to any other animal in that they all have unique characters. And if anyone has ever worked with horses then they will understand what I mean when I say that Emus usually have one of three responses to most things.....fight, flight or eat it!!!! Funny and precocious from the moment of hatching they bond immediately to anything large that moves and thats it.... you, your partner or the dog become the surrogate father and there's not much to be done except enjoy walking through the bush with a tagalong crew of ratbag emus everywhere you go:))
